Individual Therapy
Service Description
Individual therapy is done one-on one for 50–60-minute sessions weekly, biweekly or as a as needed basis with a licensed mental health professional to discuss and address emotional, psychological or behavioural issues. The length of therapy is contingent on the presenting issue and goal of treatment. At Sabrina M Psychotherapy we believe that everyone has the strength and knowledge in navigating challenges and creating meaningful change. However, there are times where one needs support through these experiences and the services of a therapist can be beneficial. In individual therapy you are given a safe emotional space to explore challenges and experiences through a strong therapeutic relationship using compassion and collaboration. The therapist and client work together to explore client’s thoughts, feeling and behaviours to develop strategies to manage and overcome challenges.
